Production Supervisor

Mission of the job:Coordinate the operational production process, instruct personnel and partial responsibility for carrying out operational activities with the aim of realizing the production planning and output according to the imposed quality standards.

Key Responsibility Areas

Work with the Production Operators on an operational level with the aim of obtaining the production capacity which was agreed beforehand.

Provide support to the Manager for the coordination and organization of the various production activities, taking care of the necessary administration, setting the right priorities and delegating tasks with the aim of offering an efficient and effective service which meets the organization’s quality requirements.

Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures

Oversee the correct execution of tasks, both quantitatively and qualitatively (Good Manufacturing Practices, customer requirements, hygiene, etc.) with the aim of achieving the department’s planned objectives.

Solve operational problems and identify improvement opportunities to attain Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Safety metrics.

Assist in updating production related SOP & work instructions, provide training to the production operators

Deliver products to the customers on time by scheduling manufacturing and conditioning projects

Maintain professional knowledge and technical skills in the frame of the production process and installations with the aim of maximizing one’s own professional knowledge and applying it in an optimum manner within the organization.

Set yourself apart

You possess the following qualifications, background and abilities:

Associate or Bachelors Degree strongly preferred

Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably GMP

Experience in a Team Lead or Supervisory Position preferred

Experience with ERP system required
