About the job

Fagron is looking for a new leader for our Australian office located in Sidney. We are looking for a General Manager who wants to grow the business in Australia. Our office in Sidney is now more focused on the sales of essentials (API’s and non-API’s). We are expanding our products to specific brands which we can sell over the counter. We want someone who doesn’t only look at the long-term plans and who makes a great strategic plan. But we also want someone who goes for the quick wins. Who tries things and sees if they work out and changes course when necessary to achieve their goals.

  • Identify and establish key prospective customers in the pharmaceutical segment
  • Promote the Company’s competitive position, products, and services
  • Plan and execute individual strategic and tactical sales - including marketing plans
  • Achieve profitable sales targets in the assigned territories
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations to grow sales
  • Provides high quality and effective pre-sales and post-sales support
  • Presence at exhibitions and organization of client seminars and congresses
  • Assist in sales planning, which includes an analysis of vendors and selling techniques, consumer research, sales budgets and quotas
  • Follow up of product evaluations in the centers, and feedback of field information
  • Maintain files on all accounts and submit required reports in a timely manner

Set yourself apart

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales and a network in pharma
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on attitude
  • Dynamic, pragmatic and results-oriented
  • Understanding of the Australian market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good self-organization and presentation skills
