We are looking for a Working Capital Manager to join our finance team in Rotterdam. As a Working Capital Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our organization's working capital processes. Your primary responsibility will be to provide continuous support in managing working capital and drive initiatives to improve overall efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop recommendations and implement plans that positively impact our financial performance. The successful candidate will have a strong financial background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in an international environment.

What you’ll learn and do
• Monitor and manage working capital metrics, including inventory levels, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Conduct detailed analysis of working capital components and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with various teams, such as finance, supply chain, and procurement, to implement working capital strategies.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast working capital trends and identify potential risks or opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on working capital performance for senior management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline working capital processes.
• Provide guidance and support to regional finance teams on working capital-related matters.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to working capital management.
• Act as a subject matter expert on working capital topics and provide training to relevant stakeholders.

Set yourself apart

You have the following qualifications and profile
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of working experience in an international environment, preferably in a finance role with a focus on working capital management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Pragmatic and hands-on approach to problem-solving, with a proactive mindset and the ability to take the lead.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in English.
• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis tools and MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (D365) and financial planning software (slim4) is a pre.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
