About the job

Mission of the job:
Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment in the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, maintaining compliance with industry standards and minimizing production downtime.


Support to Site Manager:
Effectively assist the Site Manager in daily operations and project management, ensuring smooth coordination of maintenance activities across the facility, leading to uninterrupted production and operational efficiency.
Machinery Installation and Maintenance
Successfully install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment, including generators, robotic isolator systems, and production machinery, ensuring all equipment meets pharmaceutical industry standards and operates without significant downtime
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution
Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining production efficiency at optimal levels, ensuring the facility's operations continue without unnecessary delays.
Documentation and Compliance
Accurately maintain and update records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and providing clear, auditable documentation for inspections and reviews
Safety Compliance and Protocol Adherence
Consistently adhere to and enforce company safety protocols and industry regulations, including OSHA standards, ensuring a safe working environment and minimizing the risk of workplace incidents or regulatory non-compliance.
Interdepartmental Collaboration
Work effectively with other departments such as quality control, production, and engineering to ensure seamless operations, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances overall facility performance
Preventative Maintenance Implementation
Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules that significantly reduce unexpected equipment breakdowns, ensuring continuous production and extending the lifespan of machinery.
Training and Development of Staff
Assist in the training and development of new hires and junior staff on machinery operation and safety protocols, ensuring a knowledgeable and skilled workforce capable of maintaining high operational standards.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Identify and recommend opportunities for improving equipment efficiency and reliability, successfully implementing upgrades or modifications that enhance overall facility productivity and reduce operational costs.

Set yourself apart

Qualifications:
• National Red Seal Trade Diploma certificate or associate qualification in mechanical, electrical, or millwright-related fields preferred. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry would be advantageous
