About the job
As a Marketing & Innovation Manager you are responsible for determining the marketing policy in order to contribute to the organisational objectives.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing client portfolio, achieving sales targets, participating in the assigned strategic projects and strengthening customer relationships.
Your responsibilities
- Help determine the local business strategy to help shaping the long-term direction in which the organisation wishes to evolve.
- Chart a targeted marketing plan for the various products and/or services together with the General Manager.
- Draw up the annual marketing budget and see to the correct expenditure thereof within budget.
- Transpose the marketing plan into real actions and draw up a planning schedule for the agreed marketing campaigns.
- Evaluate and adapt the various marketing campaigns in terms of their effectiveness and impact on the sales and to take final responsibility.
- Coordinate and organise internal or external marketing activities.
- Evaluate and select the most recommended external partners to develop a long-term collaboration.
- Coach and develop employees to make optimum use of and develop their capabilities, skills and know-how and work as a proper team.
- Periodically consult with the other departments in the group to exchange information, share best practices, search for scalability and synergies together and/or work on specific marketing campaigns
- Maintain good contacts with key stakeholders to be able to anticipate at all times on change or new developments and trends in the industry.
- Continuously inform oneself about the latest trends and keep one’s knowledge up to date in function of new developments.

The ideal candidate is/has:
- Master of Pharmacy
- 2-5 years experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing function
- Fluent in English, both written and verbally
- Strong commercial drive, entrepreneurial, hands-on, pragmatic and result-oriented;
- Strategic thinking, strong analytical and conceptional skills, excellent planner
- Experience in the management and implementation of multi-disciplinary projects;
- Customer-focused, enthusiastic, solution-oriented;
- Independent, thorough, digitally savvy and data-driven;
- Structured, accurate, great organizational skills;
- Networker, able to quickly develop good relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
