Area IT Manager / IT Business Partner

About the job

Serve as a primary point of contact between Regional IT and Global IT.

  • Facilitate clear and effective communication, ensuring that technical concepts are understood by non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the LATAM business to understand their needs, goals, and challenges. Translate these requirements into technology strategies that align with the organization's overarching objectives.
  • Manage risks and key strategic relationships between IT and the business owners/clients. Ensuring that clients requirements and expectations related to the IT services are met.
  • Lead change initiatives related to technology adoption. Provide guidance and support to teams during transitions, ensuring seamless integration of new tools and processes.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments. Understand their unique needs and act as a trusted advisor on technology matters.
  • Capture new demand towards Global IT and work with Global IT to ensure business requirements are clearly articulated and validated.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of technology provided by Global IT.
  • Motivate and coach team members with the aim of making optimum use of and developing their capabilities, skills and know-how.
  • Drive compliance with Global IT standards and support change management towards Global Platforms.
  • Elaborate and manage the department’s budget with the aim of organising the department’s various activities and guaranteeing the results within the policy lines of the overall IM budget.
  • Ensure agreed Service Levels are met and identify areas of performance improvements
  • Act as the Program Manager for IT projects.

Set yourself apart

You have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience;
  • Typically, have 5+ years of work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments;
  • Strong business acumen with working knowledge of the industry, major business processes, and key performance indicators;
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment spanning different time zones and geographies;
  • Experience with program and portfolio management (desirable);
  • Global/International Virtual organization (desirable);
  • Broad understanding of current and emerging technology trends and developments;
  • Strong working knowledge of governance policies and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff;
  • Solid planning, financial, and performance management skills
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically;
  • English is required;
  • Spanish is desirable.
