Demand Planner

About the job

Mission of the job:

This position is responsible for planning and managing demand processes to ensure the business meets agreed customer targets at minimum operating costs and optimum stock levels.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Cooperate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service in order to deliver an accurate demand driven forecast plan.

  • Monitor customer and inventory trends in order to recommend short term forecast adjustments.

  • Manage inventory / stock levels and replenishment in order to ensure a good balance between availability and inventory value.

  • Share information on price changes and replenishment of stocks with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service in order to make sure they are up-to-date with availabilities of products and interesting promotion opportunities.

  • Continuously inform oneself about the latest trends in Demand Planning and keep one’s knowledge up to date in function of new developments with the aim of consolidating one’s credibility, by offering a service which is continuously based on up-to-date knowledge.

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and qualifications:

Education/ Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • User-level knowledge of major ERP/MRP systems (Navision, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical industry preferred
