For our Emerging Markets Region we are looking for a Finance Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and reports to the EMEA Finance Manager. In this role you are responsible for advising and monitoring the business processes, and searching for opportunities for quality/efficiency improvements. You evaluate and interpret financial data and translate this into understandable reports. Good accounting is the starting point for this. You support commercial thinking, but you also know how to challenge this when necessary.

Function:

• Provide management with financial and analytical support and detailed insights to act as a trusted partner on strategic decisions in the short and long term.

• Coordinate and supervise the various financial activities of entities within this region and formulate and oversee the finance strategy and policies in line with the business strategy.

• Coordinate the annual budget process and quarterly forecast process together with management and local controllers.

• Manage the closing and reporting processes for the companies within the region together with management, local finance teams and Shared Service Centre (Barcelona, Spain).

• Proactively analysing, delivering and communicating results (monitoring variances, identifying trends, etc) across the different departments.

• Set up, control and follow up on finance procedures in line with the Fagron guidelines to improve the quality of the current processes and tools.

• Motivate and coach a team of local controllers and finance professionals to (further) develop their capabilities, skills and knowledge.

• Participate in Ad hoc projects (i.e. advice on contract negotiations, lead local ERP implementations…).

Ihr Profil

• You have experience in a dynamic environment in which you will fully operational, but also think along at strategic level.

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Accounting or Controlling.

• At least 3 years of experience in management and controlling position.

• Excellent accounting knowledge (IFRS). • Experience with Financial and ICT processes (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage).

• Clear interest in new IT tools in the area of financial analysis and reporting, Power BI is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, any other language is a plus.

• Expert in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).

• Affinity with a sales and innovation-driven organization.

• Positive and collaborative attitude, solid team player with the ability to work independently in a confident, deliberate and productive manner, being analytical, accurate and performance driven.

• Ability to research issues and arrive at logical well-documented analysis and conclusions. • Willing to travel.
