Warehouse Support Specialist

The primary purpose of the Warehouse Support Specialist role is to manage the inventory for the Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts and acquire Certification Documents from suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • On the floor leader that will strategically plan, organize teams, train and perform all daily activities pertaining to inventory control goals and objectives.
  • Perform cycle counts, research and reconciliation.
  • Communicate with multiple internal departments to gather item lists for picking and transferring.
  • Organize and coordinate with Warehouse Lead the movement of items to and from offsite 3rd party storage facility.
  • Manage communication with vendors/suppliers to obtain certification documents to support all receiving efforts.
  • Work with warehouse leadership to develop and maintain inventory replenishment plan.
  • Ensure Inventory Team accomplishes daily cycle counts, putaways and restocks pick locations.
  • Informs warehouse leadership of low inventory levels for critical items.
  • Responsible for opening warehouse and ensuring activities start on time.
  • Maintains audit readiness in areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates and leads by example a exemplary work ethic, takes responsibility, holds self and others accountable.
  • Provide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement.
  • This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of warehouse operations.

Profile/Experiences

  • Leader capable of developing a team centered on the Fagron Values and Family Rules.
  • Inventory Control Management (REQUIRED)
  • Several years’ experience working in Inventory Management Software (REQUIRED).
  • Experience leading a team. (REQUIRED).
  • Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills in problem solving (REQUIRED).
  • Solid understanding of warehouse workflows (REQUIRED).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build working relationships with other departments.
  • Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (preferred)
