The main responsibility of this position is to plan and manage demand processes in order to ensure the business meets agreed customer service levels targets at minimum operating costs and optimum stock levels.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Establishing accurate demand forecasting and use and maintain our inventory/forecast system (Slim4) with the aim to optimize inventory levels and product availability.
- Follow up on Slim4’s new functionalities and use the software in the best possible way to ensure accurate demand forecasts, inventory replenishments and levels.
- Generate new requirements for finished goods and share them with Supply Planning.
- Participate to S&OP meetings and review the product portfolio together with sales colleagues.
- Coordinate Supply Planning, Procurement, Production and Quality to mitigate issues related to shortages and delays.
- Develop solid planning processes for make to order and make to stock products.
- Identify excess, obsolete and end of life inventories monthly, recommend and implement corrective action plan.
- Constatly monitor inventory levels and propose actions to mitigate inventory write-offs.
- Daily management and problem-solving of supply and inventory plan variances, including unexpected demand, to ensure appropriate communication and actions with sales, supply panning, purchase and production
- Create and maintain reports that effectively communicate information against established business objectives
- Develop, understand, and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators
- Continuously inform oneself about the latest trends in Demand Planning and keep one’s knowledge up to date in function of new developments with the aim of consolidating one’s credibility, by offering a service which is continuously based on up-to-date knowledge.

Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Master user-level knowledge of major ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), D365 experience preferred
- Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and ERP S/W.
- At least 5 years of related experience
