For our office in Rotterdam, we are looking for a Global Tax Lead. As Global Tax Lead you are responsible for all tax requirements of the Fagron Group and the reports in this framework with the aim of implementing a tax compliance and control framework and minimizing fiscal pressure at Fagron. The Global Tax Lead will report to the Global Treasury and Tax Manager and will be part of the Global Finance department. This position is a combination of managing, analyzing, reporting and hands-on collaboration with and support of the business.
Your role:
- Responsible for the global tax compliance and control framework
- You are managing the domestic and foreign tax obligations and are the sparring partner for the local Finance departments
- Ensure compliance with (public) CbCR
- Pillar 2 reporting
- Improve the quality of the internal tax reporting
- Quarterly tax analysis for the group
- You are the advisor regarding Transfer Pricing, and you keep the relevant documentation up to date.
- Coordinate and contribute to tax planning projects in collaboration with internal teams and external organizations.
- Gather the required data for agreements with and checks of the tax authorities, risk mapping and involvement in negotiations with the tax authorities for complex cases with the aim of defending the organization’s tax files.
- Support and advise management with regards to mergers and acquisitions in terms of taxation.

We are looking for a passionate self-starter that possesses the most of the following:
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting with an interest in tax calculations (IFRS, deferred taxes and ETR)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an international company
- Sollid tax accounting skills
- Direct (international) tax background
- Analytical
- Result driven
- Hands-on mentality
- Excellent knowledge of English (Dutch and/or Portuguese are a pre)
- You can identify with more than one of the “Fagron family rules”: Humility, simplicity, analytic, autonomy, responsibility and transparency
