Fagron seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager for our Austin office, tasked with spearheading and overseeing our IT projects and nurturing our IT Project Management Office. Here is an outline of the role’s key responsibilities and required qualifications –
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in leading and managing two or more full life cycle Microsoft D365 F&O or AX ERP implementation projects.
- Spearhead full life cycle project management, including:
- Defining project scope
- Crafting comprehensive project plans
- Procuring and managing resources
- Establishing clear timelines
- Mitigating project risks and troubleshooting issues
- Monitoring project budget and expenditures (including internal and external capital and expenses)
- Facilitating transparent communication across all levels, including Steering Committees, Core & Extended Teams, External Consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure successful project delivery and seamless transition to the sustainment team.
- Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with managing project managers.
- Supervise consultants engaged in various initiatives.
- Contribute to requirements gathering, functional specification creation and review, AX or D365 configuration, testing, and training.
- Define objectives and priorities for the PMO.
- Mentor and inspire project teams to enhance their competencies.
- Develop a portfolio of projects aligned with strategic goals.
- Familiarity with software development, B2B, CRM projects is advantageous.
- Collaborate with North America IT leadership to formulate technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Travel approximately 10-20% to site locations during implementation projects and support phases.

Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager.
- Proven proficiency in managing Microsoft AX or Dynamics 365 implementation projects and delivering ongoing support.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional business endeavors.
- Experience in vendor and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, with a flair for conceptual thinking.
- Proactive approach, with strategic acumen and adaptability in dynamic environments.
