Investor Relations Assistant

About the job

The Investor Relations department designs and delivers the communications strategy, materials and events to reach the global investment community, and serves as the point of contact for this community. As an Investor Relations Assistant you are responsible for administrative duties and logistics around Investor Relations events. 

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Chief Communications Officer, including scheduling meetings and calls. 
  • Maintain the investor and analyst contact list and handle distribution of selected press releases and other materials, often outside of normal office hours; Monitor incoming calls, email and other inquiries, direct as appropriate and ensure timely follow-up. 
  • Plan and maintain, in close collaboration with Chief Communications Officer, the annual program of IR events for the calendar year ahead. 
  • Plan and execute logistics for Investor Relations events for CEO, CFO, CCO, collaborating closely with CCO and liaising with multiple internal and external parties. Events include analyst presentations, capital markets days, investor seminars, video webcasts, conference calls, roadshows, conferences, and other events in cities around the world. 
  • Use IR information tools to research and screen investors, identify potential targets, maintain accurate record of interactions, track and measure activity. 
  • Assist the CCO in gathering information for and preparing investor communication materials and internal memos and reports; maintain archive of broker research. 
  • Help in maintaining and updating the Investor Relations website.

You possess the following qualifications, background and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an executive assistant or equivalent role in an international business environment that provides the knowledge, experience and skills needed for the functional duties of the job; experience in a similar IR or Corporate Access role preferred.
  • Excellent planning, project-management, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines; eye for detail; ability to anticipate and solve logistical problems.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in close collaboration with others; discrete and professional in handling confidential information.
  • Hard worker with no-nonsense mentality, willingness to deal with and sort out problems outside of normal office hours.
  • Flexible and immune to stress.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English.
