Supply Chain Assistant

We are hiring a full-time Supply Chain Assistant to join our team in St. Paul!  This is a unique role that will provide administrative support half time to Supply Chain (purchasing, logistics) and half time to Quality Assurance. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contacting suppliers and manufacturers for inbound orders and updating the ERP as needed with expected delivery dates and lead times
  • Obtain and create quotes for inbound and outbound shipments and source best method of transportation
  • Expedite the purchase order process
  • Keeping vendor information up to date in the systems
  • Coordinating with quality and others internal stakeholders for new item introductions
  • Communicating with other departments regarding supply needs
  • Reviewing Quality records for final product release in our internal system
  • Other duties as assigned

You possess the following qualifications, background and abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • Highschool diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative assistant role
  • Experience working in Supply Chain/Purchasing and/or Quality environment preferred
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred
