The Fagron Pharmaceutical Sales Internship is a unique 12 - week program in our Austin, Texas office designed to give students hands-on experience in selling in the hospital and pharmacy space. After completing sales training, Sales Interns will be assigned a territory and book of business based off progress made during the internship period.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Call on hospitals, physicians and/or pharmacies
- Support the National Account team in providing services and building long-term relationships with customers
- Learn from the National Account Team to assist them with territory management, product knowledge and selling skills
- Other duties as assigned

You possess the following qualifications, background and abilities:
Basic Requirements:
- Must be in 3rd or 4th of a bachelors degree or a current pharmacy technician, Chemistry, Biology or biochemistry degrees preferred.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Fagron does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required
Desired Experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely self-motived
- Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively with multiple tasks on their plate
- Ability to learn, apply and communicate technical and scientific knowledge
- Professional inside sales experience and a desire to continue into a sales profession in the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
- Positive, enthusiastic and energetic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool strongly preferred
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment required
- Microsoft Outlook skills preferred
