Position Description:

Supply Chain Analyst, Austin, TX - Responsible for sourcing specific raw materials to continuously provide the organization with the necessary raw materials and materials at an attractive price. Plan and manage demand processes in order to ensure the business meets agreed customer targets at minimum operating costs and optimum stock levels. Lead sourcing projects and negotiation with suppliers to improve cost, service, quality, and inventory. Analyze current spend and evaluate current suppliers. Consolidate spend across our supply base to create leverage, analyze purchasing trends and develop sourcing alternatives. Identify new high potential suppliers on global basis.  Identify and pursue opportunities to lower the total cost of goods and services to enhance total enterprise cost of ownership; provide supply planning and analysis; and conduct supplier performance and relationship management. Analyze, document, and present complex category and operational/financial data to stakeholders and business leaders. Support new supplier qualification, new product development activities, and customer projects as required. Research and develop a working knowledge of the assigned categories or areas of responsibilities, including how the goods/services are made, any specification requirements, and how the goods/services are used internally. Perform SCM Planning in Sales side (finished goods inventory); Demand Forecasting via S/W & Excel o Inventory Control of Sales side or Finished product; manage Supplier relationship; BI (Business Intelligence) Reporting; Purchase Order Generation using ERP system; evaluation of slow moving materials and excess inventories and recommend and implement corrective action plan. Work with Sales and Marketing on new product introduction, clearance and end of life runs. Manage consolidated sales projections for volumes and financial implications in both the monthly demand planning process and to deliver to Strategic Planning Process while working cross-functionally to support the annual operating planning process. Develop, understand, and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators. (No agencies or phone calls please.)

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management and 5 years of material planning, project management and data analytics experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry or a Master’s degree in business administration or supply chain management and 1 year of experience in material planning, project management and data analytics experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.

Must possess 1 year of experience with:

-Performing Cross-Functional Reporting, Analytics & KPI Tracking

- ERP/MRP systems (Navision, SAP, or Oracle)

- Supply Chain Planning and management

- Procurement & Inventory Management

- Data Preparation, Processing & Automation from ERP systems
