We are seeking a highly-motivated Pharmacist to join our 503B Human Drug Outsourcing Facility.
As a Pharmacist, you will:
- Review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Formulate new compounded products
- Directly supervise all compounding and aseptic personnel
- Ensure performance standards in accordance with pharmacy job descriptions
- Answer customers' questions
- Answer clinical questions from health care providers
- Assure adequate control and documentation of controlled substances, per state and DEA regulations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures that apply to pharmacy services
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations
- Maintain established procedures
- Follow procedures regarding medication storage and preparation areas throughout the pharmacy
- Compound medications/IVs
- Maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory
- Follow all State and Federal guidelines for quality and safety in the preparation of sterile compounded medications
Seja a diferença
You possess the following qualifications, background and abilities:
- B.S. or PharmD. degree from an accredited Pharmacy School
- 2 years related experience in Compounding, Sterile Compounding preferred
- Experience in Retail and/or hospital environment
- Current/clear Kansas pharmacist license
- Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance preferred
- Must have knowledge of principles, theories and laws, policies and procedures relating to pharmacy operations
- Team leadership or management experience is an asset
- Technical ability, analytical ability, and decisive judgment
- Self-motivated and take initiative
- Teamplayer
- Ability to maintain a strong work ethic and be efficient in their work
- A positive and supportive attitude
