As our HR Manager The Netherlands, you will support 220 employees across 5 entities in The Netherlands with locations: Capelle aan den IJssel, Hoogeveen, Oldenzaal, and Uitgeest. You will work closely with local managers, the HR Business Partner (reporting to you), and the EMEA HR team to ensure that HR services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Your main base will be in Capelle aan den IJssel, but you will travel to the other sites when needed. You will manage operational & strategic HR tasks and you will be a coach to our people leaders, helping them navigate their HR responsibilities, from employee engagement to talent development. You will also play a key role in driving projects related to employee engagement, employer branding, HR digitalization, compensation & benefits, and data-driven HR. In this role you will report to the EMEA HR Leader.

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Acting as a sparring partner for people leaders in tackling HR-related business challenges, empowering them to lead their teams effectively and foster a positive work environment.
  • Guiding and overseeing the full employee life cycle.
  • Leading the transition of administrative tasks to our new Shared Service Center in Barcelona.
  • Managing the entire recruitment and selection process.
  • Designing and implementing and communicating HR policies and processes.
  • Being a driving force in projects like employee engagement , HR digitalization, data-driven HR, and Compensation & Benefits, keeping Fagron ahead of the curve.
  • Work closely with local leaders and the EMEA HR team to ensure smooth and effective HR services.
  • Developing and implementing the HR strategy for all Fagron entities in The Netherlands, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Set yourself apart

You will need to be hands-on, but also able to think tactically and strategically. Here is what we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in HR, preferably in an international environment
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills – experience mentoring or guiding managers is a big plus
  • An interest in HR transformation to help transition administrative tasks to Barcelona
