The Manager of Professional Services for Fagron North America will manage the programs, services and personnel within the Professional Services department in support of all business segments within Fagron North America. The Professional Service Manager will provide oversight of all existing professional service programs offered through Fagron Inc. B&B Pharmaceuticals, Freedom Pharmaceuticals, AnazaoHealth, JCB Laboratories, Fagron Sterile Services (FSS), the Fagron Academy and Business Compounding Consulting Services (BCCS).

The Professional Services Manger will report to the Director of Marketing and will have primary responsibility for management and development of all professional service offerings, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Production and the Executive Team in the development and execution of all innovative and value add service offerings for marketing and sales into the U.S. market and in support of Fargon North America’s business and product lines. The Professional Service department will provide technical oversight of content developed to support the sales of products and services of Fagron North America and lead collaborative efforts around industry, trade, professional services, training and other value-add programs and services offered through Fagron North America’s Professional Services department.

The Manager of Professional Services will require close interaction with domestic and international departments, strategic partners and clients/customers at a variety of levels. This position is based out of St. Paul, MN and will require roughly 50% travel. Remote candidates with appropriate skills and experience are encouraged to apply and will also be considered.  The Professional Services Manager will manage a team of 5 direct reports, some of which will be remote.

Key Responsibility Areas

Product Development/Project Management

Manage/maintain Fagron’s professional services, education, training and value add programs. Establish and maintain Professional Service department’s knowledge of all Fagron product offerings in effort to support customer inquiries into said products.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure departmental compliance with FDA, and other regulations, for new and existing products and program offerings. Be a liaisons for Fargon with regulatory agencies within the pharmacy compounding industry and collaborate closely with internal functions such as regulatory, engineering, sales, and marketing, to develop integrated program and project plans aligned with Fagron North America business and product lines.

Coach and develop one’s employees

Coach and develop the Professional Services department employees with the aim of making optimum use of and developing their capabilities, skills, know-how and working as a proper team to provide clinical support for the Fagron products and services offered within the U.S.

Collaboration with General Managers, Global and Sales & Marketing

Consult with the GMs of the U.S. Businesses, Global, Sales & Marketing on the building, and administration of the various programs and offerings coming out from the Global Compounding Knowledge and Fagron Professional Services departments with the aim of maximizing training offerings, timely and effective clinical support for new product rollout, and support of Fagron business lines and products.

Market Awareness

Gather market feedback related to new feature suggestions, product development ideas and customer clinical support. Lead the building of all U.S. based training and customer support programs delivered from the Professional Services department for pharmacists, physicians, and others in support of Fagron’s U.S. Businesses.

Ihr Profil

Based on one’s own knowledge and experience of the U.S. pharmacy compounding market, the Manager of Professional Services must be well-rounded with the experience and ability to effectively work in both start-up and mature business environments, experienced with FDA regulated products, international business experience, have strong partner relationship skills, business savvy and technical pharmacy compounding acumen. The Manager of Professional Services must have an active license in good standing within the healthcare profession with an emphasis on experience working with compounded pharmacy products.

  • Desired licensure or certification as R.Ph., Pharm.D., R.N.
  • 5 or more years’ experience in a healthcare environment providing clinical services/support with a preference for experience working with compounded pharmaceuticals
  • Considerable decision making capability
  • Sensitivity to accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to train and evaluate support staff
  • Experience building and administering training programs
  • Experience with FDA regulated products, preferably 503A and 503B expertise
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills, editing and proof reading
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, environment of change
  • Independent, detail oriented, but also a strong team player
