Fagron Holding USA, LLC at our Austin, TX location, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the team. You will provide daily support to managers, employees and your team as it relates to any payroll matters You will work with a team to process by-weekly payrolls for several companies in multiple states. This role will report to the Payroll Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily management of the payroll administration
- Process Bi-weekly payroll, garnishments, child support orders and balance out benefits with the pay register
- Calculate and monitor wages, holiday pay and other pay components (bonus, commissions, expense reimbursement, etc.) in order to pay wages and compensation in a correct and timely manner
- Prepare, double check, cross check and review payrolls according to the established deadlines
- Submit ACH payments as needed to finance
- Provide reports as needed to management, finance, HR and others as appropriate
- Provide excellent customer service to our employees
- Maintain professional knowledge and technical skills. Continuously inform oneself about the latest updates in payroll and keep one’s knowledge up to date in function of new developments with the aim of consolidating one’s credibility, by offering a service which is continuously based on up-to-date knowledge.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience as a payroll specialist working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience processing multi-state payrolls and knowledge of state and unemployment taxes
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook and Excel); experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
- Outstanding organizational ability with keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload, multi-task and meet deadlines
