Sr. Accountant

About the job

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our AnazaoHealth business in Tampa, FL. This role will support our Health and Wellness business line and report to the Business Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting functions.
  • Assist with Internal and External Audit requests.
  • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
  • Support inventory accounting processes including book to physical adjustments, inventory reserves and physical inventory audits or observations.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior members of the finance team.
  • Contribute to the elaboration and processing of the balance sheets and financial overviews
  • Evaluate capital projects and enter them in the Capex system to route for approval.
  • Understand key business unit operating metrics/drivers and measure performance to established metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance senior roles.
  • ERP System expertise required; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.
  • Solid team player with the ability to work independently in a confident, deliberate and productive manner.
  • Ability to research issues and arrive at logical well-documented analysis and conclusions.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator with both financial and non-financial individuals.
