SUMMARY

Manufacture drug formulations with strict adherence to standard operating procedures and cGMP requirements. Attention to detail / producing high-quality products is of upmost importance for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist pharmacist in verifying OFFICE USE orders in the initial verification step (release - QA1)
  • Add order to waitlist if applicable Be able to annotate and make corrections to order if needed Move order back to verification that cannot be corrected in QA1
  • Be able to make calls to organization if needed Assist pharmacist in doing the final verification of OFFICE USE orders (review – QA3)
  • Be able to lift the products and separate them (i.e., refrigerated vs non-refrigerated) and move them to the appropriate location (partial rack, shipping area, refrigerator) once QA3 is done.
  • Assist with moving the finish order to shipping Be able to kick orders back to the appropriate grid if needed Be efficient in Microsoft word/excel
  • Any other task within operations at the discretion of management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one-year work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use a computer for day-to-day work applications.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
